Vlado, could there be a difference in how the noise is distributed on the image?
I remember reading about how the human eye uses the poisson model and so maybe vray and corona use different noise models.
I have the feeling that some people like corona bc it renders an image very quickly with a type of noise that isn't anoying to the eye.
So even if the final result in both engines is the same, the difference is in the first 20 seconds or so.Guido.

the "best looking" noise I've seen is metropolis light transport in Kerkythea. But all noise ultimately sucks.Check out my (rarely updated) blog @ http://macviz.blogspot.co.uk/

that looks very impressive vlado! does the denoiser still require two images to get a clean result?Dmitry Vinnik
