I'm testing it now with the new LC and IR

Ok, I'm up to 5 minutes in the rendering time and the estimate time is about 3h let's hope it stays there

You shoudnt really need to build a new IR/LC if you change the subdivs...in an ideal world yeah you should tho.

But if you had not built a new IR/LC since you removed the raytrace maps then I suggest you do it.. which you have now

3hours hey.. well it might slow down once it hits all the gold.. depends.

        Good luck

I did build a new IR and LC after i removed the raytrace, now at 18 minutes it's at 5h30m, i can't see were he is up to because I’m rendering it to a vrimg without preview to save memory like one mentioned above

From your experience. What’s a normal render time for such a scene?

Hard to say.. you have a fair amount of gold which would slow it down due to glossys.

I would say 3-5 hours at that high res isnt all that bad

Could you show us what kind of glass mtl you use?
Transparency is often a problem in the redering time.
I think about the light hang on the top.

PS: sorry that my first advice haven't avoid this

Ok, I left it rendering over night it took 7h26m, high but not 19h , but the rendering is now missing some maps and as you see the dark wood is only good in the upper left corner?

                priad see my glass mtl

You probably still have some memory issues (you can see that in backburner).

                  sugestions:
                  - optimize your scene
                  - use proxies
                  - use different passes
                  - optimize textures

                    It seems good like that.

Hmmmm well for starters your glass IOR is out of whack.. as priad said.. fix that up.
It seems like you may have some mesh problems, as there appears to be bit of mesh stucking thru other bits and parts missing or something around the top areas.
Are there any errors in the vraylog?

The missing maps looks like either your using DR and some machines cant access all the maps or its the missing maps problem that VIZ has. Which I thought had been fixed.

I don't think you need to use forg for this glass that will slow the rendering as well.

He was talking about "fog" in your glass material. surely you could have know that.
