  • Vray for Blender 2.8 - when?

    When will the Vray for Blender 2.8 be available for download? Last version is 2.79.

                It is great indeed! It would be possible for shaders to approximate V-Ray in Eevee. We would at least have something to work with in real-time, until, if at all, a V-Ray RT would ever get implemented.

                    Good to hear. I'm trying to learn Blender 2.8 and I'm eager to try out Vray for Blender.

                          Can you provide any information if IPR will be included in this update? That's the big question that will decide for me (and I assume many others) whether V-Ray for Blender will be a desired rendering option. I've been hoooolding off on upgrading to NEXT waiting on an answer to this question.

                              That's exactly why I have not pulled the trigger on the upgrade, the answer is far from certain. Even if the promise is kept - is it a month away, or two years? I can't afford to invest in something with so much uncertainty.
