Sounds good, but I'm having a hard time confining the fog to an area!
So what is the proper shading network to use when you want to assign an environment fog to a piece of geo (like a cube or a sphere as a bounding volume) for the fog effect? And when you do it this way, do you need to plug anything into the environment fog slot in the v-ray for maya render globals?
