Enscape not installing in Revit

I tried to submit a support case via the web portal, but I have not seen any response yet, so I deiced to add a post in the forum also. My users is on a tight deadline, and I need to get this resolved ASAP.

I have one user that is having some issues with the latest Enscape installer. The installer looks like it runs just fine, but the Enscape tab in Revit is not showing up. we have tried to un-install and re-install Enscape multiple time. Still not Enscape Tab in Revit. There are 4 versions of Revit on the computer 2019, 2020, 2021, and 2022. None of them show the Enscape Tab.

Does anyone know if there is an un-installer tool to clean up bad installer files, or a folder that can be deleted so a clean install can be done?

@SPS_Arch , I’m sorry to hear about that.

In the very first instance, please also try installing Enscape for all users on that machine (This ensure Enscape is being installed with administrator permission as well):

It should not be necessary to remove any files manually after uninstalling Enscape, but if you still run into this problem after trying the above please let me know as well.

thanks for replying Demain.

I have tried the un-install and re-install as the domain admin user.

It looks like some of the default options in the installer are not set properly.

after a few tries I used the “Advanced” option. I found that the default option had none of the plug-ins selected.

This would indicate that nothing will install. After selecting the “Revit” plugin, it installed properly and was available in Revit.

Usually, the installer has every CAD solution checked by default, so I’m sorry to hear that this was causing the problem. But, I’m glad you were able to resolve it, thanks for letting me know!
