Enscape won't open MAC Ventura 13.0.1

Having the same issue that was described here - WORKAROUND: macOS 13 Ventura ““EnscapeApplication” is damaged and can’t be opened. You should move it to the Bin.”

I followed the steps for the fix/workaround but the app still won’t open. After following the workaround, when I click on the Enscape app my screen flashes for a second but no app ever opens. Is this happening to anyone else? Not sure how to move forward from here
