error: UNHANDLED EXCEPTION: Rendering frame

Hi

I got this messages today ( yesterday there was no problem) using VFB but when rendering with the MAX Frame Buffer - it renders OK.

SP3 one client + 3d hosts using LWF.

Which V-Ray version is that?

Best regards,
Vlado

As mentioned in the previous post: SP3 (actually SP3a) employing one client + 3 hosts.

NIR

It says “Rendering frame region (2533,1454)-(2533,1454)”, which is in fact empty. Do you have the render region button on in the V-Ray VFB?

Best regards,
Vlado

Vlado

I cant recall but it was happening in full frame as well (almost 100% sure)

Nir

Well, that’s the reason for the crash; why the rendering region is of zero size am not sure. If you wish, you can send me the scene to vlado@chaosgroup.com to take a look.

Best regards,
Vlado

Vlado the scene is on its way

Hi Vlado,

Did you find the solution to this? I’m having the same problem.
When I turn region render off it works fine. Also renders fine with Max’s frame buffer.
I’m using SP4.
I’m not sure if this is important, but I’m using clipping planes with a vraycamera.

Thanks.

The same happens without clipping.
