I am having an issue with the material scale not matching between Rhino and Enscape. When viewing materials within Rhino while using the “Rendered” view setting, the materials show up as I would expect based on the real world size I assigned the texture image when creating the materials. However, the material scale is completely different when viewed from within Enscape. I’m pretty sure this is a texture mapping issue, but so far I haven’t been able to resolve it.
I’ll add that within Rhino, I originally didn’t originally adjust the material mapping coordinates or types at all. It is quite nice that within Rhino, material scale and orientation now automatically shows up correctly and consistently when applying materials. After reading the Enscape forums for similar issues, I tried assigning the “Box Mapping” to all geometry in Rhino and also changing the model units within Rhino to centimeters. Neither resolved the issue. Lastly, I tried opening Enscape’s Materials Editor. My materials created within Rhino didn’t show up at all, and I’d appreciate not having to make all new materials through the Enscape Material Editor to replace the existing materials if I can avoid it.
Thanks,
Chris
