material tab missing in Rhino 5

Hi,

I can’t find Enscape material tab and reinstalling it several times but never shown.

And typing “Materials” does not work either.

Is it because I am using Rhino5?

Maybe the toolbar isn’t updated and you see the old one. I would uninstall Enscape and look at the path, where the toolbar from is loaded and delete this. Now reinstall.

Hey @doohowon , welcome to our forum! Were you able to resolve this problem, as the thread itself has been marked as resolved? If not, definitely try what Micha posted above and let me know in case this doesn’t help.

Here I found the location of the Enscape ;C:\Users\Dooho Won\AppData\Local\Enscape

but do not know which path is Enscape load material from.

so I just uninstalled Enscape and delete the remnants from the same folder, and reinstalled it, and still do not see the material tab.

I see the material icon and material folder from C:\Users\Dooho Won\AppData\Local\Enscape though..

Reinstalling Rhino might be helpful?

Reinstalling Rhino also does not work, what is the problem ugh

Also, reinstalling Rhino does not help either.

@doohowon , I’m very sorry - My apologies for not noticing earlier, but Rhino 5 does not support our dedicated material editor. In this case, you’ll have to make use of the basic material editing provided by Rhino 5, which is supported by Enscape, or you upgrade to Rhino 6! Again, sorry for the confusion.

@Demian Gutberlet, thank you, I will consider to upgrade to Rhino 6
