Viewport 2 error - No Hardware Render 2 settings

V-Ray V-Ray for Maya Issues

This seemed to start when we upgraded to Vray3 all pc in the studio have the same issue

// Error: file: C:/Program Files/Autodesk/Maya2015/scripts/others/createViewport20OptionsUI.mel line 190: Cannot find procedure “createAETabInWindow”. //

Probably a Maya issue, but we fully uninstalled Maya and VRay but still had the issue on new install, any ideas?

Have you tried to remove V-Ray? Does it work or not?

It didnt make a difference if we removed it. it was something to do with the Maya prefs in the end, we just deleted a few user prefs and it came back.
So unrelated to VRay.

Glad to hear you sorted it out but it is still strange that the issue occurred just after the V-Ray 3.x installation.
Have you made any other change on the machines except updating V-Ray?
