VRay Round Edges - Bump

I am trying to use VRay Round Edges in addition to my existing bump map.

Should I use a VRayCompTex and put the Image in SourceA and the VRayEdgesTex into SourceB, with ADD as the function?

Is this the most effective way to achieve this?

I’ve been doing it the way you described for a very long time and I don’t remember having had any issues.

Thanks Alex, I just wasn’t sure if there was a downside. It seems to be working as expected with that method.

You can also plug the material you’ve created in a VrayBmpMTL with an EdgesTex map as additional bump.
