It failed unfortunately. After 4 hours. It says "Hardware failure detected! Test stopped". It was alot hotter than before 75° on average and with much higher fan rpm. But I didn't wend back to my old fan curves maybe that's due to that.
I'll try to get the temps down when my new AIO is here. And that shouldn't be the reason why it failed anyway.

You are almost there, it didn't fail because of temps..75 degrees is totally fine
Aida's load is more intensive than any kind of rendering anyways
RAM OC needs more tuning, we can do that today
We will use few values from the XAMP, then set voltages on our own. Will write to you here in few hours

          Vray Benchmark:
21217 ksamples for the cpu only and 457 mpath's for CPU+GPU
          CInebench: 7595

Should be around 3400 to 3500 on Cinebench R15

                    Got my new AIO.
Do you use corair link to control it?
it lets the cpu get pretty hot.. like 88°
but its really quiet even though it runs at 1500 - 1600 RPM
Should I apply new heatpaste or rely on the pre applied one?

Congrats on the new cooler Ihno
The pre-applied paste is good enough, but first you need to clean the old one
Corsair link is pretty good! for setting fan curves and such
But in this case, don't use bios controls so they don't conflict each other
If you are getting high temps, make sure that the pump is working.. if you place your hand on the tubes, you will know if it is wokring or not.. it also gets monitored in Corsair link
re-applying your thermal paste might help, if you are getting high temps.. make sure you don't use too much or too little(too much is worse)

So in the bios I set the CPU fan to dc and turn smart fan off? And connect the 3 fans to the pump instead of the mobo as described in the manual?

Leave the CPU fan to default in bios, Fans can go to fan headers on Mobo which is not an issue, pump header is different though

I now put the fans on the mobo and turned corsair link off. Doesn't seem to make a difference temperature wise.
I'll stick to the mobo setup as I trust it more than the corsair link app.
I still get 88°, the pump is running.
I might need to apply new paste. Or get the voltage down a little.
Or could it be that that cooler doesn't perform as well since it's "surface that touches the processor" isn't as big as the one from the other, so it only covers the middle of the processor?

I have used this cooler on many builds, surface area doesn't really mean much
I get 60 to 65 degrees with the 2990wx with it
What do you use to monitor your temps?
might be a faulty pump(which is very rare on Corsair AiOs) like how unlucky
Are you sure the pump is working? it makes noise and vibration on tubes, you should be able to tell
you should expect the same performance, similar to how your older AIO performed

You have the 360 150I Pro?
Can you upload a photo of your pump and fans connectors?
First time, temps were ok.. meaning you did it right. Did something change somehow?
and you have your radiator fans on exhaust.. so they are pushing hot air outside the case?
Basic things, but need to double check
