VMPP replacement. XSMP (XS Material Presets) for 3ds Max is a continuation of plugins family: V-Ray Material Presets Pro (VMPP), Corona Material Presets Pro (CMPP) and Material Repository Pro (MRP).

New website. VMPP v.4.x purchases moved to the new accounts at new site.

I currently use Project Manager to handle all my library needs. Its more than perfect for me since most materials need to be adjusted for every new project anyway. It also supports batch rendering thumbnails and saves the UVWmaps with the materials.

So since XSMP is basically a material library with the same pricing as a Corona box-license I wonder what is the real value of it.

I've been using VMPPmax for some times now. The last update I got was 4.2.5, which for some time now, was working just fine. Then a few days ago. I clicked on the VMPP4 button and had to wait a very long time for it to open, then when the interface finally appeared, it was totally unresponsive. I never received an email about any new account. It just started doing this at the beginning of October.

First I knew about the changes, was when trying to contact support via the original site and being redirected to the new site... Yet even though I finally got to contact support, as yet I have had ZERO response.

While I am aware of the replacement XSMP. I do not intend to upgrade for the foreseeable. All I want is is to get my current VMPPMax 4.2.5 working properly

Well today, as I starting work on my latest project, I gave it another go. I've done nothing since I wrote the post above, except trying to run it, many, many times and for some reason, today it is working, as you can see from the screenshot. However, it would be nice to know, why for some time, despite reinstalling it and several restarts of the computer, it refused to function at all, apart from loading the interface, which took almost a minute. Very weird but really happy to have it back again.

Last week I had to upgrade my PC. Replaced the motherboard, CPU etc.. Everything worked just fine. Sorted license for V-Ray and many other plugins, but when it came to VMPP for Max, I had a problem

When you want to send the license request, you fill out your details and email them to license@sigershop.eu. Link on base of form. However, since that site is no longer active for sales and support. I am wondering what I do now. I still don't know if my original account was transferred to the new sigerstudio site, have not heard anything from SIGER as promised back in October 2018 and now I cannot use the plugin, until this is sorted, as the license is hardware locked and having changed my motherboard and CPU, it is basically dead... HAd no such problems with Chaos Group Vray or for that matter iToo Software with Forest Pack Pro and Railclone, nor with Vizpark Walls and Tiles etc. Just this VMPP Max v4.2.5.

First time I activated it, too around an hour, now it's been over 4 hours and I'm not even sure if I will get a response at all, as I now discover that email is likely no longer actiave

I emailed them a few months ago to get my Corona version working, but I never heard back from them. I think they went awol.

Had a similar issue for a couple of weeks. Changed my pc name and that blocked the license. Sent an email but so far nothing.

In the meantime I managed to fix it by changing the pc name back, deactivating the licence, rename the pc and request a new license from within the siger menu. The online validation worked so something still seems to be active.

There's a page on the website in your customerzone that creates a licensekey/authentication number.

Okay, maintenance never made sense, since in the years I had it there weren't updates (maybe one). How do I get the v2 if I have a box license?
