Had it too, only solution was going back to incremental save.

sorry to hear that. For me, it was Evermotion imports. If you delete everything in your scene, one by one, you'll end up with things that you can't see. If you delete those invisible things, you might be okay.

It was an evermotion thing with me too. I had to revert to the file prior to the import. Importing it again showed no problems. Quite strange. I couldn't delete the invisible things as they were unselectable.

It makes you wonder about that Evermotion stuff. I usually have nothing but issues, so I stopped using them, for the most part, a since I had the 'scene gone crazy'.

Well what I tend to do is open another Max, then I merge the Evermotion models in an empty scene; clean them up and adjust the materials. Then with Flopitor I copy them over to my other scene. Works well. Last time didn't work out too well though. But I do an incremental save before merging something from them Then it can't go wrong.
