If it doesn't work for you, I'll send you the file I made doing it.

I think I might have gotten it. I Started merging things in smaller chunks. I got to a series of elements that started with 'arch...' When I merged those elements, all I saw where the gizmos, but no geometry. That wasn't the smoking gun because all that meant was the geometry wasn't where the gizmo was, which isn't to uncommon. However, I started over and merged everything except the 'arch...' stuff and all seems good. Heck, that was a day I'll never get back!

Just a follow up. All is good and I am almost done with the scene. I guess I didn't take the merge one-by-one until I find the culprit very seriously, because I couldn't imagine bad geometry could do such a thing. This was probably the issue with the VFB and Everrmotion merges, too.

New project and same thing. This time I imported a 3DS MAX that was modeled in MAX 2014; nothing else.

When I open the scene again the camera vertical shift is gone and I can't right mouse click to remove it. Also, when I delete the camera, all is good. I am using VRay 3 and a VRay camera.

That doesn't help. When I open the scene up again and the vertical is wrong, I can uptick the Vignetting and it corrects itself.

Here is the new scene, which is a simple building shell.

Back to the madness!!!! Again, copy/paste something from an Evermotion scene. It started happening; I didn't even save the file and now it is permanently baked into the scene.

So if I understand correctly, you merged something in a file from evermotion, the sh*t hits the fan, you don't save. You reopen the file and it's gone loco?
                          A.

Well, I think. Every day a 3pm my project folder gets mirrored and that file was good, so I picked up where I left off there. However, I don't think I saved the file I was working on when I merged the Evermotion stuff, and when I closed and reopened, it was doing that ghosting thing that it does. Regardless, I didn't do any work after my 3pm backup, so this time, no harm done.

Have the folks at Evermotion been any help with this issue? Sounds serious enough to at least contact them, after all you're the customer here!
