  • Weird checkerboard pattern

I have encountered this kind of strange checkerboard pattern when using VRay GPU before, and now it also appears in Vantage.
What caused this? How to avoid?

No trees of this height cast shadows, and I use the "Sunset 002" HDRI in Cosmos for lighting.

What's the material of the wall ?
Can you attach a screen-shot of the shading graph or send the scene (just the wall and its material) to our support ?

I've raised this issue at least twice I think but without a solution - looking at the picture I assume this is uvwrandomizer + stochastic tiling and normal maps? - You don't support it from my testing normal maps with stochastic tiling

This is exactly what it looks like. We have it logged under LAV-1826 but it's complicated, see below.

        Mentioned here

npg yes but if you see my latest reply on the post here https://forums.chaos.com/forum/chaos...ray-normal-map

I describe it as actually purely regarding stochastic tiling and normal maps. The composite, mix maps etc actually have nothing to do with it as it can be replicated on a very simple shader setup. As seen in that post
