i am not sure. did you ever let it render past the LC calc ? might be that they get added after first actual rendering...just a shot ino the dark as it looks okay so far.
Excuse me if I'm stating what's already been suggested and I missed it, or if I don't understand the problem, but don't you have to have the VFB off (uncheck the 'Enable build-in Frame Buffer' box) for the Render Elements to work? It looks like from your picture that the Render Element is not enabled.
i assume you dont wanna share that scene. Would it be possible to remove the geometry, put in three boxes and send me that scene ? then i could take a look at it after work.
When the V-Ray VFB is enabled, all V-Ray render elements will appear switched off in the Render Elements tab inside the Render Scene dialog. This is a work-around so that 3dsmax does not create its own render elements bitmaps - this is not required as the elements are stored in the V-Ray VFB itself. If the V-Ray VFB is used, the render elements can be enabled or disabled by using their own vrayVFB parameter.

actually tricky i've found something - plugin worked like a dream with Max 8 / RC3 / Max 9 RC3 / Max 9 64 bit RC3 64 bit,
however; i had some real bug issues with Max 9 and RC3, so vlado very kindly sorted me out with an updated RC4 build only last week - since then i can't get the plugin to work either - exaclty the same problem as you - it's just not in the drop down elements menu.....
Can only conclude it's a different build issue? Or can anyone else shed some light?
can prepare a rc4 build for pre3 to 7. (newer ones are untested).
would they still theoretically work however? Just not tested post 'pre release 7' builds?

Also off topic - I noticed you guys use .exr files - how do you guys currently save out to .exr format using vray? I can imagine rendering to .vrimg and converting would become very time consuming for an image sequence....
I just couldn't test newer builds because I dont have them.
The new builds have the ability to directily write to exrs with all the channels from the framebuffer. Just change the filename from vrimg to exr.
sorry - know this is off topic now - but this gives me an error?
I get fully black images for all channels out of the frame buffer channel splitter and an error when saving to vrimg but changing the extention to .exr?
