Faster Interactive Rendering with default settings.
VRay’s interactive rendering seems slower than Corona’s. May be caused by the default settings, but it is also the reason why many of my colleagues gave up on VRay.

I don't know if this has already been mentioned or not.
In VFB:
- the ability to copy/paste Compositing layers from one image to another
- the possibility of adding a layer to download an image (texture, color patch, etc.) to enable more precise color correction by close comparison.
- an error message when loading a .vfbl file and there's a matching problem in Cryptomatte

Could you please enhance V-Ray's Toon Line control?
First, port Maya V-RayToonMtl and ToonLine.

And provide detailed line control like PRman, ARNOLD.

For example, it would be nice to be able to put a line on the edge of the shadow.

Redshift has also implemented advanced Toon Line in its latest version.

Now, V-Ray's Toon Line is only a minimal implementation.

Some sort of eye dropper tool for V-Ray's camera to select an object to be in focus when using depth of field. Unreal engine has this feature and it is so nice to be able to quickly select my object to know that is the focus of my shot and adjust my camera settings from there.

Could it be possible that Vray sun has an Add Vraysky button?
Sometimes I merge suns from other files and I forget to add sky, and .....well its not that this is very complicated to add it from Environment but it could be practical to have it inside the sun

Hmm I also work in meters since 3 years for 80% of my work (for huge projects spanning sometimes a couple of km). I never changed a light or a setting regarding that. Did I miss some big ass rendering errors all this time? Or is it only visible in certain cases?

It barely makes a difference, but it is a difference. You can probably ignore it. I do wonder why it even exists as a setting.

Regarding your problem, in Max 2024, you can right click on a setting an set it as a default, so that might solve it.
