Hi there,

following my previous post (http://forum.asgvis.com/index.php?to...46593#msg46593), and your suggestion, Devin, I'd like to test the Beta version of the new VfS plugin.
Just in case - just in case it's too buggy for me, can I easily revert to the last stable version?

OMEGASLASHER - Thanks for helping out If you'd like to download the latest beta version of V-Ray for SketchUp by going to the VfSU BetaTesting forum at the bottom of our main forum page. You should see a post titled "WIP Releases >>ALWAYS THE LATEST<<" That's where you can find the latest build. We are currently at 1.48.74.

NIELSWERGIN@GMAIL.COM - I'm glad that you're concerned that the latest beta may be unstable, that's the mindset you need to have when you are testing software out. As a safety net, we do have a method for reverting back to a previous version, in the event that the uninstaller does not do the job properly. Any scenes you work on, may not be able to be read in an older version though, so please be sure to back up anything you work on. Future versions can read older versions, but older versions can have difficulty understanding newer versions (depending upon what has changed). http://forum.asgvis.com/index.php?topic=7764.0 <== topic discussing reverting to 1.05.30. You don't necessarily need to revert that far back, this just shows you how to get to a clean state for a new installation.

Hi Devin,

thanks for this. I have just installed the VfS beta version, but when I want to run the licence server, I get the message "That serial number has already been used as a master number on another server". Well, yes, I just it for the version of VfS which I had just purchased. What to do?

If you could please send the email off with the requested information, we can get things under way.

I would really like to be in the beta circle.
We have a purchased license and are using 1.05.30 currently.
using it every day, but I am now ready to fuly dive into the beta to try out the new features and test it profoundly.
