Enscape light won't shine

Hellow I’m trying the enscape lights but they won’t shine very far. i’ve set artificial light brightness to 200% and in the render settings sun light and artificial light is on.

i’ve tried to put the night sky brightness to 0 but still no good light

Is your light object in the light family trapped behind a lens? Unfortunately lighting cannot pass through other objects even when transparent.

That’s actually not correct - transparent objects won’t cast any shadows in Enscape.

@laurens_callewaert can you show us the setup of the light fixture family in Revit? What kind of light source is it, what are the intensity values?

So for this example I use this enscape light:

these are my render settings from revit:

these are the enscape settings:

and this is the light in enscape outside so there is light but it won’t come out:

@laurens_callewaert , yes, this is indeed by design - they won’t emit much light. As a workaround you may want to use another dedicated Revit light in combination with it. Just make sure to not locate it in any geometry itself or you won’t see the light.
