Hi,
I am having issues when opening Enscape from Revit 2021. Enscape stalls at 5% on the loading screen and then I am forced to shut down Revit and Enscape by ‘Ctrl Alt Delete’ as both programs are unresponsive.
I have tried to uninstall enscape and re-install, also update any drivers and my graphics card but the problem persists.
Can you help me with this issue as enscape is becoming unusable!
I have filled out at feedback form and thought I’d back it up with a forum!
Many thanks in advance,
Liz
@Liz.Deane , welcome to our Forum!
Sending in Feedback is the perfect procedure in such cases - thanks a lot. You’ll hear back from us again rather soon via that channel. Sending in Feedback provides us with your machine information, and log files which should very well give us further hints as to why it’s stalling.
Could you try opening the Revit sample project? It looks like you’ve got a lot of Enscape assets in your project and I’m wondering if there’s something else that might be causing a start / hang issue. Please try opening a small project or a sample project and let us know.
We’re also experiencing the same issue using 3.2.0 62705.
Previously 3.1.1 worked fine.
I’ve submitted feedback.
In my test case, the issue occurs with a minimal amount of geometry within the model.
Looking forward for a fix on this.
Thanks,
Kevin
Hey @kevinfielding , I’m sorry to hear about that.
First off, please also acquire and install our latest version (3.2.0+65063) - Plus, does this issue “resolve” itself by restarting the CAD? In addition, please also install the latest drivers for your GPU which you can find here. The current drivers you have installed are from the end of 2018, so rather outdated.
On top of that, it can also help to make sure that your CAD solution is also fully up to date.
Let me know if the steps above do not resolve your problem.
Hi Demien,
The issue appears to be resolved in the latest version. Thanks
Can I make a suggestion - The version history would be more useful if you indicated which bugs were fixed in the release. As you frequently release new versions, it would be easier for Practices to determine whether it’s worthwhile upgrading or not. Especially larger Practices with many deployments.
Thanks for your assistance.
Kevin
I’m glad to hear that.
I’ll also forward your Feedback, thanks Kevin!
