The eyes have SSS of course .. and reflection on the eyes as well as lacrymal liquid, here's a close up of the eye ( an older version) . It really depend's of the lighting. Ans since I modified the eye shape lately, I'm not done with them I have so stuff to adjust etc but everything is there as you can see, as ell as the very important refractive line when the eyes goes in the bottom ( of thop ) of the eyelids.

this project is not dead, I'm back to it

Here's a pony tail test ( not finished, need to do the tail at the back ) I also tweaked the long hairs, will post a render soon of the new long hairs ( little tweaks though ).

Let me know what you think, BTW no facial hairs in this render since it's a test.. it's too long to render with facial hairs on..

Some of the small hairs just on the hair line look bit disconnected which might be down to not having all the fuzz around it, but the main hair and face look amazing.

Really nice indeed! The only parts that look a little odd are the underside of the nose (very symmetrical) and the ears, which look kind of waxy to me. This could be partially the lighting, which has a ton of fill from underneath. I would not light face like that, though I know lots of fashion photogs who might.

Keep up the awesome work. Would love to see it with the facial hair on...

Read through the entire thread... wow! Thanks for letting us come along for the ride. I've got one teeny, tiny, minor, ridiculous thing to note and it's kind of silly considering the massive amount of work you've been doing on this amazing masterpiece.

The pattern of the iris should be different for each eyeball. Completely different.

EDIT: I was responding to an older render about the irises. It hard to tell if they've been updated on the latest render.

I'm redoing some region render to fix some little stuff and I tweaked the facial hairs, like I mkae it a bit longer on the ears, etc.

thanks' man, a little update here, on the lacrymal liquid in the eyes, rotated some textures to make it assymetrical,etc) I started a render with long hairs now to compare with the same lighting.
