Here is a kitchen that I am working on. Now, it's probably a little too busy, but it's coming along with good render times.

I agree, it's too busy... the stools need to be smaller.. these are for higher countertops.... and I don't know about the dog.

Are the props in the foreground added in in photoshop? Might be just me but the dof seems a little off on them. Exposure is great - you've got that part of your work totally sorted now!

The dog was an experiment, but I'll remove it. The foreground stuff is in MAX, but I agree, they look cut/paste. I think I have the can lights too bright, so there isn't enough contrast.

i feel the dog not going too well with image also the amount of light outside is not reflecting in the interior.. for example look at the floor around window.. i dont see the light affecting much to flooring around window. Apart of this.. i think image is looking crisp!

Here is an update. It's going to change because I am still waiting for some light fixture cut sheets. You are not seeing light flooding into the space because I have the direct light on the other side; you see ambient light from the outside.

Half the glow / glare on it, the rest is looking good - perhaps the hue of the green looks a bit neon?

A lot of compers I've worked with won't use a single glow / glare on any of their images - they'll use three. A very tight one at a pretty high amount, a medium size one at half of the tight one, then a very broad one at a tiny amount.

good advice! I knew it was too much, but knowing the scene will change, I didn't worry much about it. This ws 20%; taken from a V-Ray Gloom element.

Looking good, but agree that the glow is way too strong.

I think the water tap (is that the word?) by the sink looks huuuge. Is it really correct scale? Looks like you need to use both hands to turn on the water

Once I get the light info for the lights over the island, I'll post an update. The water fixture is accurate, but might be too big for the space.

Here, is an update. The render times got kind of high, so I had to lower some settings to get it done, so it is a little noisy.

One thing that confuses me is the difference in render times between these two images. Literally, the first one took twice as long, however everything is identical, except the perspective, of course. I know, I am closer to some shining things, but the same shining things are in both views. Same camera, material, light, and V-Ray settings.

well in the first view the chandelier takes up at least 1/6th of the image, I am guessing that is taking the most time to render.
