Eye, there is a very limited test version for Maya only at this point. It's called vray.exe. You can read more about it in the announcement section.

wow. i wonder if they will ever make a version of vray for mac OSX. oh wait ive got an even better idea of a performance increase. ill go place my lawnmower engine under the hood of my car. yeah. thats power. Im supprised macs are still around. Its kinda like keeping that old aunt that no one really liked in the 1st place on life support 10 years after she has gone brain dead (and to anyone who has an aunt on life support im truely sorry for the analogy)

Well Ive been looking for an alternative to 3dsmax (not v-ray) and was also excited about the XSI offer. On the other hand if you want to fully use MR with XSI I'm assuming that its network licencing is like that of max's and you will have to buy an additional licence for each render node you wish to use. This in my opinon is where v-ray excels in its network rendering licensing.
