We haven't even installed max 8, as for archviz the enhancements aren't that staggering, and 7.5 works pretty well...

I'm still on 7 inside in work - I'm on subscription and have 8 sitting on my desk - I didnt bother upgrading the company to it since 8.0 was apparently so shit and there were enough features for me to bother. 8.1 is apparently okay but there still isn't a lot for me to go with. Maybe pelt mapping and node independant expressions and script controllers for character rigs but that's about it really :/
