sorry for the time delay. But here's a version that should work with RC4s.

MultichannelMatte for RC4

I tested this from pre 2 up to rc4 pre7. I don't have newer builds myself. Let me know if there are problems.

Just used the max8RC4 version with Viz 2007 and causes it to throw up an application error and shut down Viz

Same problem as Tricky...Max9x64rc4. Followed exact procedure and all that is in the VFB is rgb and alpha. Help...

That's really strange.

Did you try the rc4 downloadlink from above? What RC4 version are you using?

No more working with RC4

Hi Dimo.
Your plugin was working good with my Max9 x86 and VRay 1.5RC3.
Now I got RC4 yesterday and can't get it work now...
When I use your RC4 x86 build for max9 as soon as I render with the
multimatte render element added, Max is crashing... ????

Any Idea???

Where do I look to find the version? Checked the Vray About panel as well as the file version and the about in your plug.

The exact rc4 version should be in the filename you downloaded from chaosgroup.

We are planning to have a small webpage for this stuff, but it will be a while.

I heard that my rc4 version won't work with the newest builds anymore. The plan is that it's included in future VRay version right away, so it always matches the version.

Maybe because I have the latest build but with your RC4 version my Max crash as soon as I render with your RenderElement...

Does chaos have already done it ?
Can we have that build with your plugin integrated??
