Basically you want to try to keep the memory and the HT at the stock speeds, well the HT definitly and you can up your memory speeds if your ram can take it.
With my mobo if i left the memory at 200 which is sync'ed at stock speeds and upped the FSB it also upped the memory as well (odd i know) so i had to lower the memory back to about 150 which when multiplied out came to 200 or so mhz (back to what it should be)
So you can basically overclock the cpu without changing the memory speeds, and since the x2's have a good onboard memory controller and you are running in dual channel mode it makes little difference.
So as i mentioned before my current cpu is running at 2.457ghz (from stock of 1. and my memory is still running at 200mhz (DDR400) so there is no addition strain on my memory, hence i was able to reach 2.457ghz so easily.
case is here! Empty... but here. I'll put the power supply in tomorrow. The people shipping out my mobo goofed and put the wrong appartment number on the box. So... it's not back on it's way to the retailer.... THEN back to me with the correct appartment number.
Good news though, my CPU will arrive this friday! they finally got it in stock and shipped it! wohoo! But, looks like I won't have a mobo to put it onto just yet. I'll pick up some fans for the case sometime this week as well. I think the case looks sufficient to flow air, I'll give it a shot and see how the temperature numbers go. If they stay cool during idle and load, then I'll keep this case.
